Crafting

There is no recipe — you find it in the world, by mining or as loot.

How to use it

You can spot oil from far away: mp;0tall black spoutsmp;r with oil running down and mp;0shiny black lakesmp;r around them. Most common in mp;2desert, badlands, taiga and oceanmp;r. Small oil lakes only appear in desert, badlands and taiga.

Below every spout there is a deep oil bubble holding hundreds to thousands of buckets.

Oil is a mp;0real, thick liquidmp;r: it flows ten times slower than water (but just as far), never forms new sources, and if you fall in you move slowly and can barely see. An empty bucket scoops an Oil Bucket from an oil source, the oil bucket pours it out again. mp;8Oil and water don't mixmp;r – water can't be poured into oil. You can pour a Fuel Bucket too (yellow, flows like water).

A Mining Well stops when it hits an oil bubble – a way to find hidden oil.
