Transformer Upgrade: +1 voltage tier (prevents explosions).
Energy Storage Upgrade: +10,000 EU buffer.
Ejector Upgrade / Pulling Upgrade: push items into / pull items from adjacent chests. Sneak + right-click a block face with the upgrade to set the direction (e.g. only up into the next machine); without a direction it never feeds other IC2 machines.
Redstone Signal Inverter Upgrade: inverts the redstone signal — induction furnace, thermal centrifuge and blast furnace stay hot without a signal.
