In the Tinker Station pick the tool on top, insert the parts in the shown order, take it on the right. Small tools: Pickaxe, Mattock (shovel+axe), Hand Axe, Kama (harvest), Dagger, Sword.

The Tinker's Anvil (3 alloy blocks + 4 seared bricks) also builds the broad tools:

Sledge Hammer 3×3, Vein Hammer whole veins, Excavator 3×3, Broad Axe whole trees, Scythe 3×3 harvest, Cleaver severs heads. Sneak = single block.
