General

New Biomes – Getting Started57 new biomes (50 surface, 7 caves) appear in newly explored chunks. Existing areas stay unchanged and the terrain blends seamlessly. Every biome has its own grass, foliage, water, sky and fog colours, particles, music … New WoodsRedwood Log (Redwood Forest), Glowwood Log (Glowing Forest) and Charred Log (Volcanic Land) give 4 planks each. Planks make crafting tables, chests and sticks. Logs smelt into charcoal. Salt & CuringSalt Crust drops 2 Salt. 4 salt = Salt Block, 4 salt blocks = 4 Salt Bricks. Salt + raw meat or fish = Cured Meat (very filling). Volcano & AshVolcanic Ash fertilises: 1 ash = 3 bone meal. 4 ash = 2 Pumice. The Fire Blossom grows on basalt and gives Ember Dust (3 = blaze powder). CrystalsBlue Crystal and Pink Crystal grow in crystal caves and crystal geodes. Mining gives 4 Crystal Shard; 2 shards = 1 amethyst shard. Special PlantsHarvest with right-click, they regrow (5 min): Fire Blossom (Volcanic Land), Salt Crystal (Salt Flats), Glowcap (Glowing Forest, Fungal Cave), Frost Lily (Glacier, Tundra). Breaking returns the plant for replanting.
